The school is up to Class VII for the Academic Session 2023-24 and will eventually move upto Class XII.

As on 1st June 2023, the applicant has to be
• 3 – 3.11 years for Nursery
• 4 – 4.11 years for KG1
• 5 – 5.11 years for KG2
• 6 and above years for Grade 1 and so on

  1. Parents seeking admission to NPS East are requested to fill the registration form and submit the completed form online. Kindly do not leave any field empty, as incomplete forms will not be accepted.
  2. Students are required to take a Proficiency Assessment which will be based on the syllabus as follows
    - If the test is conducted in September to March – Full portion of previous year studied and 1st term of the current year
    - If the test is conducted in April/May – Full portion of previous year studied and of the current year completed

  • Pre-primary 8:30 am – 12:00 noon with a short break
  • For students of Class 1 and above, the school begins at 8.05 am and ends at 2.45 pm with a mid-morning snack break and afternoon lunch break

The school will facilitate provision of textbooks and notebooks

For Classes - KG I, KG II & Classes 1 - 7

  • Notebooks need not to be covered
  • Textbooks must be covered with plain brown paper sheet
  • Stick plain labels on the top right-hand corner of the textbook
  • Mention the name of the child and class on the label. The section and the subject will be entered later

Pre-primary at National Public School East, follows the Kindergarten method of teaching, for the Early learners. Children learn through fun- filled and engaging activities which involve music and movement, art and craft and several hands-on activities. The important skills that are focussed during their early learning years are Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Communication, Social and thinking skills. The structured Library Reading Program enhances the reading skills and makes them confident young readers. The lessons are planned keeping in mind all the Multiple intelligences, integrating technology, Cooperative Learning structures and Differentiated Instruction to make it child centric.

Yes, the school has Parent Communication systems through the almanac and an online Parent portal- NPS Diary and the ‘Friday Folder’ posted every ‘Friday’ on NPS Diary. NPS East hosts a state-of-the-art secured internet-based portal – NPS Diary that also allows parents to easily keep track of their children’s progress in school. This service provides parents with up-to-date information to ensure that parents stay better informed about their children's activities. NPS East values parental involvement and this is an additional system NPS uses to create a stronger relationship between parents and the school community.

School has Summer, Dussehra and Christmas breaks.
