An engaging Authors’ Talk was organised for the students of Grades 4 to 6 to provide them with an opportunity to interact with accomplished authors and develop a deeper appreciation for literature and reading. The session aimed to inspire students to read widely, explore their creativity and understand the journey behind becoming a writer.
The author Niyatee Parikh Sharma shared interesting anecdotes about their writing experiences, the inspiration behind their books and the process of transforming ideas into engaging stories. The interactive session encouraged students to ask questions about characters, storytelling, publishing and the challenges faced by writers. The authors’ insights helped students understand that writing requires imagination, observation, perseverance and a genuine love for words.
The session was highly interactive and enriching, with students participating enthusiastically throughout. The Authors’ Talk not only motivated students to develop a regular reading habit but also encouraged them to express their thoughts creatively. It was a memorable learning experience that successfully brought the world of books and authors closer to the students.
