GRADE 10 C ASSEMBLY - WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
The students of NPS East conducted an impactful morning assembly on World Environment Day, highlighting the importance of environmental conservation and sustainable living. Through informative segments, a thought-provoking skit, and an environmental pledge, the assembly encouraged everyone to adopt eco-friendly practices and become responsible caretakers of the planet.
The students of Grade 10C at NPS East conducted a meaningful and inspiring morning assembly, beginning with the school prayer and the National Pledge. A Thought for the Day, “We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children,” and the Word of the Day, Stewardship, reinforced the importance of environmental responsibility and sustainable living.
The news segment featured International, National, State, Sports, and Weather updates, helping students stay informed while connecting current events with environmental awareness.
A major highlight of the assembly was the skit, The Planet V/S The People, which creatively portrayed the impact of human activities on the environment and reinforced the importance of individual and collective action in protecting nature.
The assembly also included an Environmental Pledge, encouraging students to conserve natural resources, reduce waste, and make environmentally responsible choices in their daily lives. The program concluded with positive affirmations, leaving the audience inspired and motivated.
