The students of NPS East conducted a meaningful morning assembly to raise awareness about child labour, children's rights, and the importance of providing every child with education, safety, and a happy childhood.

The students of Grade 10A at NPS East conducted a thoughtful and impactful morning assembly, beginning with the school prayer and the National Pledge. They confidently presented the Thought for the Day in English, Hindi, and Kannada, inspiring the audience with the message that the true measure of a society lies in how well it protects its children. The Word of the Day, Dehumanization, reinforced the importance of respecting human dignity and human rights.

An informative speech explained the significance of World Day Against Child Labour and emphasized the global need to eliminate child labour. A powerful skit portraying the lives of children working at a garbage dump sensitized students to the hardships faced by children who are deprived of education and childhood due to poverty and other social factors.

The assembly highlighted that child labour is a violation of human rights and stressed the importance of collective efforts to ensure a better future for every child. It concluded with a message encouraging students to uphold the values of dignity, equality, and justice. Overall, the presentation was informative, impactful, and successful in creating awareness about protecting children's rights and eradicating child labour.
