World Music Day Assembly

To mark the global celebration of World Music Day, observed annually on June 21st, the Grade 7 choir group of NPS East presented a special assembly performance on the morning of 19 June 2025. Also known as Fête de la Musique, the day honours the universal language of music and its unique ability to bring people together across cultures.

The choir performed the song “World of Music”, delivering a joyful, harmonious, and spirited rendition. The students displayed great confidence, coordination, and enthusiasm, highlighting their dedication and the teamwork that went into preparing for the performance.

It was truly a wonderful and uplifting presentation, showcasing not just musical talent but also the values of collaboration, discipline, and expression. Through their performance, the students highlighted how music can transcend boundaries and unite people from diverse backgrounds.

The performance left the audience inspired and it resonated with the spirit of World Music Day, reminding everyone of the joy and connection that music brings to our lives.
