“Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.” – John F. Kennedy
The students of Grade 4D conducted the school assembly with the theme “Voices of Tomorrow: Kids Take Over the World.” The programme was beautifully presented, showcasing imagination, leadership, and the dreams of children who are the true voices of the future.
The assembly began with a warm welcome, followed by the National Pledge. Students then joined in the School Hymn, which set a positive tone for the morning. The Thought for the Day was shared in three languages (English, Hindi, and Kannada) reminding everyone that children are the most valuable treasure and hope for the future.
The Word of the Day, “Visionary,” was introduced, explained with its meaning, and used in a sentence to inspire students to dream and work for a better world. A group of students recited the inspirational poem We Are the Future, which highlighted the importance of learning, caring for the environment, and spreading love and kindness.
The highlight of the assembly was The New World Parade, where students creatively imagined themselves as young leaders of the world. From the Minister of Green Earth promising to protect the environment, to the Education Hero ensuring books in every hand, and the Peace Ambassador spreading harmony, each role was performed with great confidence. Other roles such as Chief of Smiles, Captain Recycle, Minister of Play, Friendship Leader, Equality Champion, Happiness Minister, and Speaker of All Kids emphasized values like joy, unity, equality, and sustainability. Together, they proclaimed: “We are the kids of the New World, bright and bold; the future is ours to hold.”
