The students of Grade 2 presented a heartfelt assembly on “My School, My Home,” celebrating their school as a second home where they grow, learn, and feel cared for.
The programme began with the school prayer and the Thought for the Day, reminding everyone that a school is more than a building. It’s a place where hearts grow. Students shared how their school teaches love, discipline, and friendship, expressing gratitude to their teachers and friends.
A lively skit depicted their daily school life, showing how they care for each other and learn important values. This was followed by a joyful group song celebrating their love for school and home, earning warm applause.
The Principal appreciated the sincere efforts of the Grade 2 students and reminded everyone that the values learned at home and school shape character, build confidence, and help us become better human beings. The assembly beautifully highlighted the special bond students share with their school, which truly is their second home.
