Class Assembly 7D

The school assembly conducted by the students of Class 7D on the theme “Honesty: The Courage to Be True” was thoughtful and meaningful, emphasizing the importance of honesty in building trust, integrity, and self-respect.

The assembly began with a soulful prayer, followed by the National Pledge, reaffirming students’ commitment to truth and duty. Students then presented the Thought of the Day in English, Sanskrit, and Kannada, highlighting that honesty with oneself and others strengthens character, fosters genuine relationships, and brings inner peace.

The Word of the Day, Forthright—meaning honest and direct— was introduced with an example: “It’s important to be forthright when admitting a mistake, as honesty is always appreciated.”

A powerful skit titled “The Lost Wallet” portrayed a student returning a lost wallet, beautifully demonstrating how small acts of honesty build trust, reflect strong values, and inspire others.

Through its engaging elements, the assembly reminded students that honesty is not just about telling the truth but about living truthfully with integrity, courage, and respect. It encouraged everyone to be honest even when the truth is difficult and to value honesty as a guiding principle in life.
