The school assembly conducted by the students of Class 7B on the theme “Emotions: Our Inner Compass” was thoughtful and engaging, highlighting the importance of emotional awareness in guiding our thoughts, actions, and relationships.
The assembly began with a soulful prayer, followed by the National Pledge, reinforcing unity and shared responsibility. Students then presented the Thought of the Day in English, Hindi, and Kannada, emphasizing how understanding our emotions strengthens mental health, decision-making, and relationships.
The News segment provided updates from international, national, and state events, along with sports and weather highlights. The Word of the Day, Animotophobia—the fear of one’s own emotions—was introduced with an illustrative sentence, helping expand students’ emotional vocabulary.
A meaningful skit titled “Emotions on Motion” depicted experiences of joy, anger, sadness, and fear, showing how acknowledging and managing emotions fosters growth and compassion. Overall, the assembly reminded students that emotions are not weaknesses but our inner compass guiding understanding, resilience, and empathy.
