“My Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles and the harbinger of wisdom, bless us with strength to overcome challenges and wisdom to walk the right path.”

The auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm in a special morning assembly conducted by the students of Class 5D. The celebration began with a serene and spiritual atmosphere, reflecting the divine presence of Lord Ganesha – Vighnaharta, the remover of obstacles and symbol of wisdom and prosperity.

The programme opened with the Thought of the Day, emphasizing faith, new beginnings, and wisdom, followed by the Word of the Day, Vighnaharta, which was explained beautifully by a student. Melodious Shlokas and a soulful Ganesh Vandana filled the air with devotion, invoking the blessings of Lord Ganesha.

An enlightening presentation followed, where students shared the symbolic meanings behind Lord Ganesha’s form—his elephant head, large ears, small eyes, and humble vehicle—each representing focus, wisdom, humility, and attentive listening.

The celebration concluded with a graceful dance performance on the Ganesh Vandana, which captivated the audience and added vibrancy to the occasion. The assembly beautifully conveyed the message of wisdom, devotion, and positivity that Lord Ganesha inspires in all.
