MATH WEEK REPORT - Grades 1-7 ACTIVITY

With an aim to honour all the mathematicians and to celebrate the beauty of Mathematics around us, Math week was conducted at NPS East from 18th – 22nd December, 2023. The week-long celebration has been an immersive and comprehensive event that promoted the exploration and appreciation of Mathematics. It fostered a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity, leaving participants with a deeper understanding and appreciation for the diverse facets of mathematics.

The week began with an assembly that introduced the magical world of Math to the students through a poem. The second day’s assembly included a dance by students on geometrical shapes. Day 3, the students take a dive into the past and getting to know about famous mathematical geniuses and their contributions to the field. On the final day, a short dance portraying the life of S. Ramanujan was put up by students, thus marking the end of a week full of engaging activities, informative sessions, and enthusiastic participation that fostered immense appreciation in students for Mathematics.
