Students of class 3 donned their 'Chef Caps' to exhibit their creativity in the ‘Cooking without Fire’ class activity.
The activity was conducted to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame, the necessity, and advantages of healthy eating, and to encourage students to avoid junk food. The students took part enthusiastically in the activity. They prepared a variety of salads, dry fruit rolls, coconut laddus, and sandwiches and served the dishes in an artistic manner. The presentation of their final dishes was a visual treat and tickled their taste buds. The activity gave a platform for the students to not only demonstrate their culinary knowledge and skills but also the skills required for following a recipe, preparing a dish, and presenting the dish aesthetically.
