Special assembly by 6B on ‘Raksha Bandhan’

The special assembly on Raksha Bandhan, a festival that celebrates the bond between brothers and sisters, was presented by the students of 6B at NPS East.

Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate the chaste bond of love between a brother and a sister, one of the deepest and noblest of human emotions. Raksha Bandhan is not just a festival, but a symbol of our traditions and culture that keeps us connected with our family sacraments.

The assembly had students speaking about the significance of the festival. Several students tied Rakhis on the Teachers’ wrists as a testament to the commitment and sacred bond between siblings, as a song based on the theme of Raksha Bandhan played in the background. The assembly concluded with a sense of love and affection, as everyone returned to their classes and responsibilities, carrying with them the positive energy and motivation from the bright beginning to the day.
